Extended Life
Down Cut
Great ability to remove chips and heat helping to prevent burning. The down cut helps prevent blow-out of the bottom edge of your cut material. This is especially useful when cutting laminates. The rougher creates the smallest chip possible, which allows the best possible chip evacuation from the router table to the dust collection system. The rougher can also be used to free-up horsepower in applications with lower horsepower spindle motors.
Our Extended Life series allows faster feed rates and longer edge life than other tools on the market today. Our Extended Life tools when resharpened also produce excellent performance and quality results throughout the tools useful life. Our Extended Life tools are used primarily for cutting laminates (Melamine, High Pressure Laminates - HPL, vinyl, painted board, etc.) These tools can also be used on natural woods, both hard and soft species.
